Well, we made our first trip to the emergency room yesterday evening. Chase fell and split his chin open. It looked pretty deep so off we went. My poor baby ended up getting stitches: 1 inside and 3 outside. He only cried for a minute when he fell. We put a bandaid on the cut to keep it covered in the car. He thought that was pretty cool. He kept laughing and pointing to the bandaid on his chin. He was great the whole time we had to wait. Then it came time to get stitches. They numbed it really good, and I don't think he could feel anything. BUT... they took a sheet and wrapped it around his upper body so his little hands didn't get in the way. A nurse held his head, and I had to hold his body. He HATED that. As soon as the doctor finished, he took a few minutes to calm down and then he was fine again.

Exciting News!!!
Well, it's official... my little girl is growing up. She lost her first tooth! She was really excited when it became loose. She was a little scared at first when it came out, but once she realized what had happened, she was excited. She put it in the pocket of her little tooth fairy bear, and the tooth fairy gave her five dollars for losing her first tooth! When her tooth first became loose, her Daddy had me call the dentist to make sure she wasn't too young. I think he was just terrified that his baby is growing up so fast. :)

Well, it's hard to believe that last Monday we got about ten inches of snow, and today was in the 70's. Normally we would have loved to get all that snow, but we were scheduled to fly out Monday morning at 7:30. Of course all the flights were cancelled, and it was crazy getting out of Maryland, but we did it. Sadly, we were flying out to Minnesota for Troy's Grandpa's funeral. Grandpa will be truly missed by all of us... He was and always will be "Troy's hero". Allie and Chase stayed with my brother Johnny and his wife, Lori. We can't thank them (LORI) enough for taking care of the kids. The kids did get to play in the snow, and they had a blast. I don't have any pictures of it though so I am posting some random pictures.
Daddy wanted me to spike his hair so.... here ya go!
Allie and her friend Jenna were baking cookies. Chase wanted to help.
