Am I cool or what?

Our Little Princess

We are very lucky... Allie loves the boat as much as we do! Chase does pretty well on it too.

Our big girl decided she wanted to get her ears pierced. We all loaded up and went there together. She was okay until they finished marking her ears. Then the tears started. We told her she didn't have to do it. She said she wanted to, she was just scared. She ended up sitting on my lap and going through with it. We don't have any still pictures of the actual piercing because she was on my lap. Troy was taking a video on his phone. It breaks my heart to watch it. Lots of tears and screaming. It turned out fine. I don't think it ever really hurt her... she was just really scared. Now she is very proud of her new earrings.

Our big girl also took swimming lessons this summer. She has been doing great. She now loves to jump off the side of the pool or the diving board. She was even letting Troy throw her in the pool. In the past, she would scream if she even got a drop of water in her face even though she has always loved to get in the water. We are very proud of her.

MORE CAKE!

I made Chase his birthday cake this year. I also made him his own little cake.

He was very excited to dive into his own cake.

He ate A LOT of cake. I won't be getting the mother of the year award, but he had fun. :) This last picture is the cardboard that the cake was on.

Chase Turned 1!

My baby turned 1. I can't believe it! His birthday was during the week so Mommy, Daddy, Allie and Chase celebrated together. We had a small cookout on the weekend for him. This was the cake on his real birthday. HE LOVED IT!!

Can I have more Mommy???

Finally... Some new pictures!

Sorry about the lack in updates. I try to keep all of my pictures on one computer, and that computer was having major issues. We are back on track now. Some of these pictures will be older, but we still wanted to share them. The following two are from Allie's dance recital back in the beginning of June. (Yes, it has been awhile!) This first picture is Allie receiving her certificate and pin after the recital.

Troy's best friend Jimmy, his wife Sabrina and their son Braxton came to visit us back in June. They live in Myrtle Beach, SC. We had a GREAT time. We went out on the boat, went swimming, hung out and wished we lived closer to each other. Braxton is about two months older than Chase. It was nice for Chase to have a little friend. :)
