Memorial Day Weekend

We had beautiful weather for Memorial Day weekend this year. We went out on the boat and had a great time. We left the dock Saturday afternoon and came back Monday morning. We weren't too sure how Chase would do. He slept on the boat a few times last year, but he was still so little. He did great all weekend. He was a little restless the first night, but barely moved the second night. Of course, Allie did great. She loves being out there. Sunday we met up with Damon and some other friends. There ended up being about 6 boats tied up together. We had a lot of fun. The water was VERY cold but a few people did go swimming. I was not one of them. :) Our good friends Tony and Pam were brave enough to come out on our boat with us. Fortunately for all of us, the kids were good.

Chase's First Haircut!

Well, as much as it broke my heart, it was well past time for Chase to get a haircut. Pushing it to the side just wasn't cutting it anymore. He did wonderful! He was such a good boy. I gave him his first lolly pop to bribe him. He was definitely more worried about the candy than the lady cutting his hair. :) The first picture is a "before" picture with his hair brushed straight down. Nobody can argue that it wasn't time. :)

It's extremely rare that Chase will fall asleep in our arms. He would rather just go in his crib. Troy was in heaven this day. :)

Tiki Bar Opening

Towards the end of April (no, I haven't been very good about updating this site...) we went to the Tiki Bar opening in Solomon's Island, Maryland. Damon, Troy and some friends went over by boat, and I met them there by car. It's really just a big party in the streets, but we always have fun.

Allie's Field Trip

A few weeks ago Allie and her preschool class went on a field trip to a farm. Chase and I went along with her. We all had a great time.




This was Allie's favorite animal... a little lamb named Harriett.


This little goat just loved Chase. He kept nudging his feet. Chase seemed to love him right back!
