In the beginning of November we went on our annual shopping trip to Williamsburg, VA. Five days of shopping with both of the kids. Thank God for Connie. Allie does okay, but Chase just wants to run around. There is a HUGE Yankee Candle Village there. It has a bunch of "stores" within the store. It also has an area where it will start snowing every so often. Santa's workshop is also there. He was sitting behind his desk working on his list when we went to see him. Last week the kids even received letters from him.

Christmas Pictures
We took the kids in for their Christmas pictures. We didn't get any "perfect" shots, but here are a few of the pictures that were taken. They had a fireplace and Christmas tree set up, but you can't really see it with the way the pictures were taken. Oh well.

Once Upon A Time There Was A Princess And A Dragon...
Allie was a beatiful princess for Halloween, and Chase was a scary dragon. Ok, so he wasn't really scary but very cute. This was his first year really trick-or-treating, and he LOVED it. He really liked all the decorations. He wanted to go to the scary houses. He is definitely a boy.

Halloween Fun
This was from when we went to the pumpkin patch. I didn't get as many pictures as I wanted to, but we all had fun.
Allie got her hair painted pink and purple. And she got a butterfly painted on her face.

Fall Festival
Allie's preschool had a fall festival for the kids. They had a maze, hay ride, and tons of games and crafts for the kids to do. Allie was very excited that her Daddy was able to get off work early and come to the fall festival. They set all of this up at her preschool. We all had a great time.

Lions and Tigers and Bears.... Oh, My!
Allie, Chase, Connie and I went to the National Zoo in Washington, DC the other day. The weather turned out to be perfect, and it wasn't very crowded. We had a great time. Chase enjoyed seeing the animals, but he didn't want to get too close. He would back away if they were up by the glass. :) He felt the same way about Chuck E. Cheese! Allie was a little disappointed because she really wanted to see the giraffes. They are renovating the elephant area which the giraffes were right by. Apparently, the giraffes have gone to Miami until the renovations are complete. Chase loved all the rocks and sticks. If there was a rock he could climb on we had to stop.
This was not a very happy gorilla!!
Look Mommy, I found another stick!
A rock AND a stick... this is great, Mommy!
